I've been a writer for as long as I can remember. I have a vivid imagination and can see the stories in my head like movies as my fingers move over the keyboard. And part of the reason I write is that I don't have a lick of ability when it comes to drawing. But now, in 2026, that's changed with AI.
With AI, if you can imagine and describe it, you can weave the thoughts in your head into pictures, clips, even movies. It's amazing! And before the hate comes, let me say up front that AI is NOT a magic bullet. I've spent countless hours with Grok shaping and refining visual projects. Even with my latest "The Shroud," it was impossible to get the AI to understand that guns don't have unlimited bullets.
Which leaves a creator with only one thing to do...edit, edit, edit. You have to pull those clips through, then cut them into manageable bits. And even then, it's not perfect. But hopefully I did a good enough job to get my point across, tell the story well, and craft something entertaining.
As I bring this post to a close, first, I want to thank everyone who reads my work, watches my videos, or listens to my audiobooks. And second, I want to state unequivocally that I do NOT use AI to write any of my stories. I feel like that would be cheating. And truth be told, my writing tends to deal with HUGE themes of life, death, afterlife, speculative SF and its impact on humanity, and other areas that people have pondered since the dawn of time. Those are things we, as human beings, can't leave to a machine. It has to come from us, deep down, and with enthusiasm and passion.
Also, I hope you enjoy the new features that have been added to the website. I'm working every day to be better than I was yesterday. I hope you are well, healthy, and happy. I'll see you out there, and I love you all.
